Guy is a K’ómoks member and his given name is wa’kadzi ala’kila, which translates to ‘good great man and giver of elk blankets’.
Guy has been in the forest industry for more than 20 years, mainly working as a Forestry Engineer. He enjoys the fast-paced work environment and evolving with the ever-changing industry. On behalf of KFN Forestry LP, Guy manages two woodlots, a forest licence and a First Nations Woodland licence that is shared with Qualicum First Nation.
In his downtime, Guy loves to hunt, camp and explore nature with his wife Ashley and kids, Rylan, Colten, and Dakota. His parents are Roger and Linda Wright and his family comes from the SaLαLt Clan.
