Natalie Streit

Natalie Streit joined the K’ómoks Economic Development Corporation (KEDC) in April 2024 as Executive Administrator. She supports the CEO by managing scheduling, preparing meeting materials, coordinating follow-up on action items, and maintaining communication with Joint Venture partners to help advance KEDC’s economic priorities.

 

Natalie is committed to upholding the policies and traditions of KEDC and the K’ómoks First Nation and is enthusiastic about learning more about local business, culture, and the land.

 

Before joining KEDC, she worked in communications, public education, and community support roles, with training in Print and Photojournalism, Human Services, Social Sciences, and the Arts. She was born in The Pas, Manitoba and has resided on Vancouver Island since 2003.

 

Outside of work, Natalie enjoys exploring the outdoors, creative arts, and time with family and friends. She is of Cree and European heritage and continues to deepen her connection to Indigenous culture.
